Thanks for the info. I am not shopping yet, and I hope to not have to buy much, but I was trying to remember where good places were. You are right that I won't be able to wear alot of the styles you do because of our different shapes. That has been an issue before, during and after my first pregnancy, and I assume it will be the same this time around. Unfortunately, since I'll be pregnant in totally different seasons this time, I will have to do some shopping. At least Houston's weather is relatively mild all year round so I won't have to buy a maternity parka.
You know you are totally welcomed to raid my pregnancy closet, right? Not that we are the same size, but I figured some things should fit you fine anyways.
Thanks, may take you up on it. Of course, you have the same seasonal issues I had the first time around. I'd have offered you my "closet" at the time, but most of mine was borrowed (and therefore sent back) the first time. May be the same this time! We'll see. I'm debating whether to spring it on the family or not. It's just still so early.
My logic in telling people was the following: If I miscarry, will those people notice my mood anyway, and be helpful? If I tell them, will the stress make me miscarry? :)
Well, when I miscarried before, we told too many people I think. It was nice to have the support of close friends/family, but months later when people we hadn't told about the miscarriage asked about the pregnancy, it was awkward. Plus, telling Aaron's folks will subject me to too many weeks/months of pestering excitement and telling my folks this early will cause my mother to start to worry WAY too soon, and that will drive me crazy. If I tell her I feel okay, she'll worry that I'm about to miscarry b/c I'm not hormonal enough. Seriously, that's the way she is. So I think we'll try to hold off til at least 8 weeks, but we'll see my parents at 7 weeks, and it may be hard to hide if I'm not drinking much caffeine or alcohol, the two cornerstones of a balanced beverage diet for me. Aaron's suggestion is to "carry around a glass of wine and just not drink it." That's just cruel and unusual.
Well, there you go, don't tell them! You don't need the extra stress! And you can in fact carry a glass of say grape juice around? Maybe Sadie can suddenly start loving grape juice that looks like wine?
