Surgery

Simon is having surgery tomorrow. That alone is bad enough, but what makes me particularly apprehensive are the feeding instructions. His surgery is at 9:30 in the morning, but he is not allowed to have food (i.e. milk) past midnight, and pedialyte past 4:30am. He will be a hungry and upset little boy
Stacey is taking him, and I will come when he comes out of the anesthesia, around noon, to feed him. He gets to go home in the afternoon, provided that everything is OK. Doctors office promised that he'll be as good as new by Friday.

Сай завтра идет на операцию грыжи. И если это мало, инструкции по кормежке это полный кошмар. Операция будет в 9:30 утра, а еды (то есть молока) ему нельзя давать после полуночи. До 4:30 еще можно давать сладкую воду, но потом вообще ничего нельзя. Так что к утру он будет бедным, несчастным, голодным ребенком.
Стэйси отвезет его в больницу, а я подъеду когда он отойдет от анестезии, ближе к полудню, что бы накормить. Если все пройдет как ожидается, то к вечеру его отпустят домой, и обещают что к пятнице он будет как новенький.
