The thrush or not the thrush

The daycare called at 10:30, and told me that Simon has white stuff all over his mouth, and that it's thrush, and that it's contagious and he needs to go to the doctor. I told them to try to wipe it off, and it's not thrush at all, but they told me that they need a note from the doctor before he can come back. Anyway, I called the pediatrician on my way to the daycare, and got an appointment at 11am. I barely had time to go pick up Si, and make it to the pediatrician. So I paid 20 bucks, and my insurance probably another 100, to have the doc wipe off my sons mouth with a gauze, and write him a note that it's not thrush, and he can go back to daycare. One good thing about my doctor, is that a little over an hour an a half after I got the initial call, I was back at work. Si, however, was very confused by my midday visit.

Директрисы ясель позвонила мне в 10:30, и сказала что у Сая молочница, что она заразна, и что ему надо к врачу. Я ее спросила можно ли стереть белый налет изо рта, и что это вовсе не молочница, но она сказала что без справки от врача Сай не может быть в яслях. В любом случае, позвонила врачу пока ехала за ребенком, назначила визит на 11, и даже умудрилась успеть заехать за Сайкой, и успеть к врачу. Так я заплатила 20 долларов, а моя страховка и еще сотню, за то что врач протер десна и губы ребенка марлей, и выписал справку что это не молочница, и что можно идти обратно в ясли. За что люблю нашего педиатра, так это за то что через полтора после звонка от директрисы я уже опять была на работе. Только Сенька очень удивился этой дневной экскурсии.
